CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Join Presbyterian Healthcare experts for a free back pain seminar on Jan. 25 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Monroe Aquatics & Fitness Center, 2325 Hanover Drive, Monroe.
Back pain is common – but in most cases, it can be prevented or treated. “Solutions for Back Pain,” a free seminar for the community, is dedicated to sharing information on back pain, including prevention, tips for living with back pain and non-surgical and surgical treatment options.
“Often, we tell ourselves that back pain is just part of getting older, but it’s important to realize that we don’t have to live with it,” said Leo Spector, MD, a spine surgeon with OrthoCarolina and the event’s featured speaker. “When it comes to treating or managing back pain, there are actually a lot of effective options out there.”
By attending this free seminar, back pain sufferers will learn ways to manage their condition and get information about services available if they need more advanced care. Dr. Spector and other experts will be on hand to offer advice and answer questions.
Monroe Aquatics and Fitness Center membership is not required for those interested in attending. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. To register, call 704-384-CARE (2273).
